Based upon community input, the park will include picnic shelters and support facilities on the west parcel, and more active recreation opportunities on the east parcel. A spray park is planned, along with varying levels of playground facilities leading to an adult-sized boulder park. Fitness stations will be provided and a quarter-mile walking trail will lead to a new pond which will provide aesthetic appeal and additional recreational opportunities. A small community center will be the focal point of the west parcel and an amphitheater will provide a casual entertainment venue. Two dog parks will make the park pet-friendly.
